Creating Customized Pick Lists in HotLeap™:
When a template is created and the data capture format is selected as Pick List, a pick list must be created. There is no limit to the number of pick lists that a company can create or the number of items in the list. Pick Lists can be created from the main Menu under Templates and selecting Customize Pick Lists. The pick list can also be created when building a template by selecting Custom Pick Lists. Each Pick List must be given a category name for selection purposes. Then the pick list can begin to be created by giving a long name (which is seen on reports) and a short name (which is seen on the handheld). A code can be entered if a company requires but it is not necessary.
