An alarm can be created by an OrgAdmin user on any numeric data point. This alarm can be designated as a high alarm, low alarm or an incremental alarm. There is no limit to the number of alarm triggers on any data point.
Alarms are created on a data point specific to an asset within a specific site on a specific run. This allows alarms to be specific to the handheld user, or to a piece of equipment. By organizing alarms in this way, the same asset template can be used but alarm triggers can be specific to the particular asset at that site. Alarms can be created at any time; alarms are pushed to a handheld through syncing the handheld.
A company can also customize the alarm response with a standardized Status Code drop down menu. This drop down will make sure that the response given to the alarm is in line with the terminology across a company allowing everyone to understand the follow-up procedures that need to occur.
